This praxinoscope is a recreation of the nineteenth century made by its inventor Emile Reynaud. The décor consists of Fairy Tales scenes from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
It´s accompanied by 15 reversible strips (total 30 diferents animated scenes which are the first ones that Emile Reynaud created for to play in his invention We included the four ones that Eadward Muydbridge made for his phenaquitiscope and also a brochure with its history and operation.
There is a wind-up music box in the cylinder which plays a lovely tune.
