An item is out of stock, can I still place an order?
Yes! It should take no more than 2 weeks to fulfill an item on backorder. We'll ship it to you as soon as we can. We don't feature items we can't get, and everything is shipped directly from the Obscuriosity headquarters located in a bunker deep below the Earth's surface in Frederick, Maryland.
What's the deal with shipping prices?
At Obscuriosity, we strive to offer the best shipping rates possible. Sometimes our software can't give an accurate estimate on shipping costs, due to the variety of sizes and weights of the items. We're not trying to rip you off on shipping fees. If the actual shipping cost is less than the estimate provided, we will refund you the difference automatically. We prefer to use the United States Postal Service, via Priority Mail. However, we are happy to ship your items with any carrier you choose, just send us a message and we'll give you a custom quote.
Do you ship worldwide?
Our website does not accept international orders, however you can send us a message and we can give you a custom shipping quote. Please be sure to include your mailing address so we can give you an accurate quote.
Why did my order arrive in a box of Ranch Dressing?
We recycle as much as possible, and that means we re-use whatever boxes and packing materials we can find. We encourage you to do the same!
My shiny thing got broken in the mail, what do I do?
Don't panic! We'll do whatever we can to make it right. Just contact us within 2 days of receiving the damaged item, and let us know what happened. For insurance purposes, we might ask you to send us a picture of the damaged item, or ship the item back to us. Please remember that damage during shipping is the fault of the carrier, and you will need to file a claim with them.
I don't like this thing I ordered, can I get a refund or exchange?
Yes. Items must be returned within 15 days of receiving them, and must be in the original packaging. You will get a refund, minus the original shipping cost, once we get your item back. For an exchange, we will settle the difference in cost, plus shipping, and send out your exchange item. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the returned item, and must include shipping insurance. We can not refund any returned items which have been damaged in shipping and do not include insurance! Please ask any questions BEFORE making your purchase.
