The trebuchet is a development on the traditional catapult. It uses a weighted bucket and throwing arm to achieve a slingshot effect which greatly increases the speed and distance of the projectile. The trebuchet first appeared in the 12th century and was used throughout the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance.
The kit is the largest and most powerful miniature siege weapon we offer, measuring 1.5 feet long, with a throwing arm of the same length.
It pegs together for great strength and will bring lots of fun for kids and grown-ups alike. Takes an hour or two to build, and younger kids might needs some adult help.
